What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept most major credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover. Debit, Zelle, personal checks, Apple pay, Google pay, Samsung pay.

 

How do you charge? What do you charge?
I charge by the hour. Please contact me for rates and to discuss your individual needs.

 

When do you expect payment to be made?
For all services, payment  arrangements will be discussed during your consultation.

 

Do you accept Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance?
No, my services are all private pay.

 

Is there a minimum number of hours required for your services?
Yes, a 4-hour minimum is required.

 

Can you transport clients to Dr. appointments?
Yes, I can take you to any appointments you may have, and I will stay with you for the duration of that appointment.

 

Do you help with administering medications?
No, I am not certified in distributing medications. This is beyond my scope of practice. I am however, allowed to “remind” you when you need to take medication.

 

Do you provide any kind of medical care?
No, I am not a caregiver. I cannot help with transfers, heavy lifting, showering, toileting, etc. I cannot assist with any injections, for insulin, or any services that would be considered clinical or invasive. I can, however, alert your emergency contact of any mental, social or physical changes so that they can take immediate action.

 

My family is overwhelmed with trying to manage my life as well
as their own. How can you help?
My services also allow respite for other family members to get a break so that they can spend some time on themselves or with their family. Understanding what it takes to care for a family member is why I do this. I can help by relieving your family of some of the day-to-day managing of your needs.

 

I don’t see a service I am looking for. I am not sure if you can help
me.

How will you contact my family in an emergency?
During our consultation, if an agreement is made for services, client or party responsible will be asked to fill out an emergency contact form. This form will also include preference for hospital, and any other medical information I need to be aware of should there be an emergency when I am with you. (Allergies, DNR, etc.)

Acceptable forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Zelle, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Cash, or Personal Check.  A $25.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks.
